Sherman, TX : Two injured in rollover wreck on Travis Street on Friday, November 11, 2016

Two people were transported to Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center with minor injuries Friday after two vehicles collided on Travis Street between U.S. Highway 82 and Lamberth Road.

Sherman Police said that at approximately 12:42 p.m., the female driver of the silver Hyundai SUV was headed south on Travis Street when she missed her turn and attempted to make a u-turn in front of an oncoming, northbound red Ford SUV carrying two occupants. The two vehicles collided, causing the Ford SUV to roll onto it’s driver side.

The two occupants of the Ford SUV were transported by ambulance to Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Hyundai SUV was uninjured. Police said they did not expect to file any charges or issue any citations.

The section of Travis Street where the wreck occurred was reopened to traffic after about one hour.
