LONGBOAT KEY, FL : A fatal crash has shut down the main road on Monday, 7th May 2018

A fatal crash has shut down the main road in this town, possibly for hours.

According to a tweet from the Town of Longboat Key, Gulf of Mexico Drive is closed near Whitney Beach Shopping Center. The road was expected to be closed until about 11:30 a.m. while the fatal crash is investigated.
