Troopers said Larramore, who was driving a 2001 Ford pickup, was traveling east on State Road 40 behind a semi driven by James L. Campbell, 54. Larramore failed to slow down in time and rear-ended the semi at SR 40 and County Road 315 at 4:35 a.m. Friday.

On Friday afternoon, an older model Ford that contained four children and three adults flipped multiple times on Interstate 75 after the rear tire blew out and the driver lost control.

Authorities said Tuesday that Maria Isabel Cuevas, Jesus Bertis, Daniel Cuevas, Gricelda Arellano, Jeremia Bertis, Anna Lea Bertis and Alexandria Bertis are recovering from their injuries at ORMC and the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Their ages range from 1 to 49.

Shortly before noon on Monday, Jason Richard Burridge, 35, of Summerfield, died when the 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 he was driving along County Road 42 crossed the center line and went into the opposite lane, where it hit a Toyota 4Runner.

Robert Ross Blystone, 69, and his wife Marina Richardson, 68, who were in the Toyota, were both taken to ORMC, where they remained on Tuesday.

There have been 11 traffic-related deaths this year in Ocala/Marion County, troopers said.
