Sarasota,FL :Driver dies after single-vehicle crash on August, Sunday 27th 2017

The driver of vehicle died from injuries that resulted from a single vehicle crash in the parking lot of 5900 Old Bradenton Road.

The Sarasota Police Department responded around 2:11 p.m. on Sunday to reports of a traffic crash with injuries.

Officers determined that the crash only involved a single vehicle and a sole occupant. They helped the driver out of the vehicle and got them medical treatment. The driver was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, but did from their injuries.

An investigation by the Sarasota Police Department’s traffic unit is underway.

The identity of the driver was not released on Sunday.
