MASON CITY, IA : One woman injured after a two-vehicle crash on East State Street in Mason City on Thursday, August 31, 2017

One woman injured after a two-vehicle crash on East State Street in Mason City Thursday afternoon.

East State Street was blocked by police at South Carolina Avenue around 4:15 p.m. as they moved a woman from the street on a stretcher.

The woman was transported from the scene to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. Her condition is unknown.

A silver Ford Taurus appeared to have collided with the back of a green Subaru, causing damage and the airbag in the Taurus to deploy.
