Augustine, FL : Four sent to hospital after wreck near the St. Augustine Premium Outlets on State Road 16 on Thursday, 20th February, 2020

A serious wreck occurred Thursday afternoon near the St. Augustine Premium Outlets on State Road 16, resulting in several injuries.

According to St. Johns County Fire Rescue, several people were trapped in one vehicle. Workers used hydraulic cutting and spreading tools to free them. In total, five patients were treated at the scene.

One patient was a trauma alert and transported to Memorial Jacksonville. Two patients were taken to Flagler Hospital, and another was taken by ambulance to Memorial Jacksonville. The fifth patient refused transport at the scene, according to Fire Rescue.
