Deland, FL : One seriously injured in 5-vehicle crash on I-4 in Volusia County on Friday morning, March 25, 2016

One person was seriously injured in a crash that involved four cars and a semi-truck on Interstate 4 east in Volusia County Friday morning.

Two other drivers had minor injuries, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The crash was reported at 9:25 a.m. near mile marker 131, between the exits to U.S. Highway 92 and State Road 400.

Jonathan Hicks, 30, of Orlando, allegedly did not slow down for traffic ahead of him and hit the back of a Toyota SUV, Montes said. The impact caused the Toyota's driver to hit the car in front of her.
