Orlando, FL : One person dead after being run over by a car on Turkey Lake Road early Wednesday morning, December 2, 2015

A man lying on an Orlando road was hit and killed by a van early Wednesday morning, state troopers said.
Authorities are investigating why the 46-year-old man was lying in the northbound lanes of Turkey Lake Road.

Troopers said the driver of the van that hit the person spoke with authorities, who said he was not speeding and stopped after the incident.
The victim's name has not been released.
