Jacksonville, FL : 1 killed in Interlachen pickup crash on Tuesday, February 21st 2017

A Putnam County man was killed Tuesday evening when the pickup truck he was driving left the road and struck several trees in Interlachen, authorities said.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. on County Road 315 near Kenwood Boat Ramp Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the driver — Brandon Joe Willis, 33, of Interlachen — was not wearing a seatbelt.
