HINDS COUNTY, MS : Alabama man dead after single-vehicle crash in Hinds County on Sunday, 28th April 2024

A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Hinds County on Sunday.

A press release says the incident happened at 5:01 p.m. on U.S. 80 near Jones Road.

According to the release, 32-year-old Curicous Palmer of Bay Minette, Alabama, was traveling east on U.S. 80 in his 2017 Ford Focus when the vehicle ran off the road and collided with a tree. He died at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
