WINSTON-SALEM, NC : Woman charged in August hit and run on Bethabara Park Blvd on Tuesday, 26th September 2023

On Tuesday, Janet Jacobo was charged with felony Hit and Run and Driving While Impaired after an August crash on Bethabara Park Blvd. The crash was a head-on collision that injured a 16-year-old driver of the other car and killed 19-year-old passenger Junior Felipe Olivo Lucan.Police say that Jacobo turned herself in and was released with a $50,000 unsecured bond. She will appear in court on Wednesday.
