LISBON , OH : Driver taken to hospital after Lisbon crash on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020

A Brunswick man was seriously injured late Wednesday night after a single-vehicle crash on Lisbon Street, police said.

A 2003 Volkswagen sedan driving eastbound on Route 196 by Logan Moulton, 22, of Sage Hill Road, Brunswick, crashed about 11:40 p.m. at Farnsworth Street when Moulton apparently lost control of the car, Lisbon Police Chief Marc Hagan said.

Moulton was thrown from the car after it hit a couple of snowbanks, Hagan said. There were no passengers.

Moulton was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with apparent head injuries.

Police were reconstructing the crash site early Thursday morning.

Hagan said speed appeared to have been a possible factor in the crash.
