Marengo County, AL : Two people killed in Marengo County crash on Tuesday, 11th February, 2020

Two people died Tuesday in a crash in Marengo County, according to state troopers.

William Roger Digmon, 58, of Thomasville and Dantiel Montre Cowan, 39, also of Thomasville, were killed in the two-vehicle crash.

Troopers said a 2014 GMC Sierra driven by Dalton Ray McKenzie, 20, of Butler collided head-on with a 2005 Honda Accord. Digmon was the driver of the Honda Accord and Cowan was a passenger in the vehicle.

Digmon and Cowan were pronounced dead at the scene.

McKenzie was taken to Choctaw General Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The crash occurred at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on Alabama Highway 10 near the 33-mile marker, about 6 miles west of the Sweetwater city limits.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
