Memphis, TN : Motorcyclist killed in Binghampton crash on Thursday, November 17, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Guernsey Avenue near Holmes Street.

According to Memphis Police Department, the father of five was killed when a car hit his motorcycle around 11:45 a.m.

Investigators said the driver of the car didn't see the motorcyclist coming, so he started pulling away from the stop sign at an intersection.

The motorcyclist laid his bike down trying to absorb the impact, but he still did not survive the crash.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver stayed on the scene.

MPD has not said if anyone will face charges in this crash.
