STONEWALL, LA : Big rig crash on I-49 South near Stonewall on Thursday, 7th November 2024

A crash involving an 18-wheeler was reported early Thursday morning south of Stonewall on Interstate 49.

According to the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office, the truck flipped onto its side sometime before 4:45 a.m., landing in the median. Traffic was reduced to one lane for more than 12 hours.



There are no updates yet on the cause of the accident or any potential injuries.
