Sturgis, SD : 25-year-old woman killed in pickup truck crash on icy I-90 near Sturgis on Thursday December 31 2015.

Authorities say a 25-year-old woman was killed when she lost control of the pickup truck she was driving on a snow-covered and icy highway two miles west of Sturgis.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the woman was heading east on Interstate 90 just after 9 a.m. Thursday when the truck entered the median and overturned. The patrol says the woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the truck and died. Her name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
Weather conditions at the time included blowing snow.
