Washington County, TN : Two Daniel Boone High School students injured in crash on Thursday, October 30, 2014

Two Daniel Boone High School students were taken to the hospital following a serious crash Thursday night. Washington County Sheriff's Office Lt. Gary Wiseman confirmed Friday morning that the two 17-year-old girls were in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Johnson City Medical Center. The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Frog Level Road, about one mile from Old Stage Road. The teens were traveling north on Frog Level when the vehicle left the right side of the road and struck a culvert, crossed the road and came to rest against a tree. Both teenagers were ejected from the vehicle. The driver was found about 20 feet away from the vehicle. The passenger was found under the vehicle.
