St. Augustine, FL : Pedestrian hit by car on State Road 16 near Wards Creek Elementary on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

The Florida Highway Patrol is responding to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on State Road 16 near St. James Avenue, which is near Wards Creek Elementary School.

St. Johns County Fire Rescue treated the person hit by a car, but they died at the scene.

Two other people were treated at the scene and are expected to be OK.
