Simi Valley, CA : Motorcyclist killed in a single vehicle crash in Simi Valley on Monday, February 9, 2015

Authorities on Tuesday identified a 35-year-old motorcyclist who died after a Simi Valley crash the previous night.

Vincent Griffin, of Simi Valley, died at a hospital after the crash in the 2200 block of Tapo Street.

Griffin was traveling south on Tapo Street about 7:20 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle entering Tapo from a driveway on the west side of the street, officials said.

The driver, a 74-year-old Simi Valley man, sustained minor injuries, while a passenger in the car was uninjured.

The cause of the collision was still under investigation.
