Two people are dead and a third seriously hurt after a crash in New Castle
Two people are dead and a third seriously hurt after a crash in New Castle early Saturday morning.
State Police say Rhasham Revelle was speeding as he drove eastbound on Commons Boulevard near Airport Road around 12:20 AM.
Revelle lost control of his SUV while rounding a curve, and the vehicle hit a curb and spun, slammed into a metal pole and flipped onto its driver's side before sliding into a tree.
Revelle and his front-seat passenger, Tynisha Scott, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The rear-seat passenger, Andre Revelle, was taken to Christiana Hospital to be treated for injuries police say are serious, but not life-threatening.
Troopers are still investigating the crash, which closed Airport Road at Commons Boulevard for about 3 and a half hours.
