Orlando, FL : Man killed when semitruck turns into path of car north on Parkline Boulevard on Sunday, March 13, 2016

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a man traveling east on McCoy Road struck a semitruck that pulled directly into his path, killing him.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that Alvin Eugene Bell, 54, of Orlando, was driving the semitruck north on Parkline Boulevard at approximately 1:53 a.m. Sunday when he reached the intersection of McCoy Road.

Troopers said Bell made a left turn onto McCoy Road directly into the path of Oshane McCrae, 27, of Orlando, driving a 2011 Toyota Camry.

The Camry hit the trailer section of the truck, killing him.

Bell was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
