Birmingham , AL : Two persons were killed and another Two passengers Hospialized after Single Vehicle Crash on Sunday, January 25h 2015
The accident that claimed the life of a teenage girl on Saturday has now claimed two lives, according to Alabama State Troopers.
The single-vehicle crash involved a 2013 Nissan Maxima with four occupants.
Allison B. McKinley, 17, was a passenger in the vehicle when it left the roadway and struck a utility sign and then a pole on U.S. 31 at the 31.1 mile marker, nine miles north of Bay Minette, Alabama.
She was pronounced dead a short time later at North Baldwin Infirmary.
McKinley's boyfriend, 16-year-old Matthew H. Hinote, of Monroeville, was taken to USA Medical Center where he died shortly after 4 a.m. on Jan 25.
A family friend confirmed their relationship.
The driver, 24-year-old Justin Jordan and one other passenger are still hospitalized.
According to state troopers, seat belts were not in use at the time of the collision.
