Dearborn County, IN : John Clark, 43 killed after fatal Crash on Wednesday Morning ,July 15th 2015

Police have identified the motorist who died Wednesday morning when his SUV crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 275 in Indiana.

John Clark, 43, of West Alexandria was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, police said.

The tractor-trailer, driven by Mark Ludman, 42, of Independence, had stopped for slow traffic and was waiting to cross into Kentucky around 6:30 a.m, according to Dearborn County law enforcement.

Clark rear-ended the tractor-trailer, police said.

A medical helicopter flew to the crash site to take Clark to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Both lanes of southbound I-275 reopened at about 11:15 a.m.
