Wayland, MO : Kahoka man killed in one-vehicle accident on U.S. 136, two miles west of Wayland early Sunday morning, April 3, 2016

A Kahoka driver was killed early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 136, two miles west of Wayland.
Jacob C. Nance, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:34 a.m. by Clark County Coroner Ed Clark. Services are planned for Thursday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Nance was driving a 2000 Jeep Wrangler west on U.S. 136 at 12:45 a.m. when it traveled off the left side of the highway, struck a ditch and overturned several times. He was thrown from the Jeep, police said.
Assisting were the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Ambulance, Clark County Rescue Squad and the Wayland First Responders.
