A Hillsboro man was killed in a single-car crash Tuesday morning after he was ejected from his car.

Jacob Hill, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 9 a.m., according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Hill was driving northbound on Highway 21 when he drove off of road toward the right, police say. When he tried to get back on the highway, he lost control and his 1997 GMC Jimmy overturned. Hill was ejected.

The crash was just north of Route M in Jefferson County.
