Columbia, SC: Mutliple vehicle accident claims one life on I-20 on Friday, July 24th 2015

At least one person is dead according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol after an accident on I-20 Friday evening.It is being reported that a multiple vehicle accident happened around 6pm Friday night on I-20 westbound near Exit 71.Multiple lanes were closed down as emergency crews are responding to the scene.Other injuries were initially reported, but the extent of those is not known at this time.Details are limited at this time and more information will be revealed when they become available.
