Boca Raton, FL : Hundreds gather to remember Boca Raton teen killed in crash on Sunday February 21 2016

Hundreds who knew Gabriella Heidrick, 16, gathered for a candlelight vigil in Boca Raton Sunday night.The Olympic Heights student died in a crash early Saturday morning.
She was a person you needed to be friends with. She made anybody smile. When she walked into a room she lit it up. She had the kindest heart. It's so sad to see her go," said classmate Kelsea Friend who shared tears of sorrow and hugs. Others shared memories of Gabby that resulted in laughs.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Heidrick was westbound on Glades Road and loss control of her car.
She crashed into a tree feet away from the Florida Turnpike entrance. An accident reports said speed played a factor.
Since her death, those who have come to pay their respects have created a makeshift memorial with a wooden cross, pictures and flowers.
