DULUTH, MN : One man is in the hospital after he crash on Wednesday, July 26, 2017

One man is in the hospital after he crashed a car at the Can of Worms in Duluth overnight.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, a 26-year-old Monticello, Minnesota man ran a stop sign and was pulled over on West Piedmont Avenue just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Authorities say after the officer identified himself, the driver drove off, and crashed after driving the wrong way down a ramp.

The driver was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for injuries.

A female passenger received minor injuries.

The driver was arrested on outstanding warrants for drug charges.
