Amarillo, TX : Lake Charles died in car crash near Amarillo on Saturday, July 25, 2015

A Lake Charles woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday near Amarillo, Texas, according to the Texas Department of Safety.

Stephanie Amos was pronounced dead at the scene on Texas 207.

Amos was the passenger in a 2012 Chevrolet Impala driven by Longville man Michael Thomas Trahan, 23, when Trahan reportedly crossed into the other lane and struck a 2012 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jim Tom Smith, 62, of Panhandle, Texas.

Trahan, his 6-month-old son, and Smith were all taken to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
