Elkhart County, IN : Two people killed and one person was severely injured in a one-car crash on Sunday November 29 2015

Two people were killed and one person was severely injured in a one-car crash Sunday night on the Indiana Toll Road.
State police responded to a crash at 10:30 p.m. on the Toll Road near the Elkhart and St. Joseph county line.
Police say an eastbound passenger car ran off the road and hit a guardrail, flipping several times and landing in a ditch. Two passengers were ejected and the driver was trapped in the car.
Driver Linda Pohto, 59, and passenger Viola Pohto, 88, both of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, were killed in the crash. Police say a 31-year-old male passenger from Denver was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital. He suffered severe injuries but is expected to recover.Police say there is no evidence yet that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, but that it’s possible the driver fell asleep. A witness told police the car passed him at a high speed just before hitting the guardrail.
