Authorities say a 61-year-old Pineville man died when his motorcycle was struck by a car in Avoyelles Parish. The accident happened around 5:35 p.m. Sunday on Louisiana Highway 107 north of Marksville. Master Trooper Scott Moreau says a car driven by 50-year-old David C. O'Quinn, of Marksville, pulled from a side road in the path of Paul McKeithen's motorcycle. Moreau said O'Quinn was wearing his seat belt and was not injured. He was issued a ticket for failure to yield from a stop sign. Troopers say McKeithen was wearing a helmet and was ejected from his Harley during the crash.
