Nogales, AZ : Two hurt in crash on Patagonia Highway on February, Tuesday 27th 2018

A two-vehicle collision on Patagonia Highway in Nogales left two people with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. near the intersection with Royal Road and involved a white Nissan Sentra and grey Toyota van, said Officer Oscar Mesta of the Nogales Police Department. One of the vehicles belonged to the Mexican Consulate.

Both drivers complained of neck pain and one was transported to the hospital, Mesta said.

The crash appeared to have been caused by a driver who failed to yield, he said.
