Kenefic, OK : Coleman motorcyclist critically injured in crash on Highway 48 near Kinetic Thursday night, August 18, 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James N. Mason was critically injured when his Harley Davidson ran off State Highway 48 near Kinetic Thursday night.

According to reports issued from OHP Troop E in Durant, the 37-year-old Coleman man was not wearing a helmet during the single vehicle crash. The investigation showed the northbound motorcycle ran off the road and hit a tree. Mason was ejected about 22 feet. He was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center with multiple injuries. His condition was listed as critical at the time he was admitted to the Dension, Texas medical facility.
Cause of the crash at the time of the report, the cause of the crash remained under investigation.
