CANTON, MO : Driver hurt in one-vehicle crash in Lewis County on Sunday, 15th July 2018

A motorist suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:45 p.m. Sunday in Lewis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Cynthia N. Clark, 47, of Canton, was heading south on Route P, about two miles southwest of Canton, when the sport utility vehicle went out of control because of a vehicle defect. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck and embankment.

Clark was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
