WICHITA, KS : Bicyclist critically injured in west Wichita crash near the intersection of West and Centra on Thursday, 10th January 2019

Authorities say one person was critically injured in Wichita Thursday when a bicycle and a vehicle collided.

The crash happened near the intersection of West and Central.

Sgt. Jason Cates with the Wichita Police Department said an individual was riding a bike and was struck.

The individual was taken to St. Francis hospital in critical condition.

Police say they do not suspect speed or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
