Fontana, CA : Young woman dies in traffic accident on Route 210 Freeway in Fontana on Thursday morning, March 30, 2017

An 18-year-old woman died in a traffic collision on the Route 210 Freeway in Fontana on the morning of March 30, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division.
At 11:24 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to a 911 call rearding the crash, which took place west of Citrus Avenue.

When officers and fire department personnel arrived, they found that the woman, a resident of Garden Grove, had been the driver of a 1999 Ford Explorer that had been traveling westbound on the 210. For reasons yet to be determined, the driver lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway at the right shoulder, striking a roadway sign and overturning.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. When her next of kin has been notified, her name will be released, the Coroner's Division said.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
