Salt Lake City,UT : Two Utah residents dead in crash near Cold Spring on February, Wednesday 14th 2018
The victims of a fatal collision that killed two people and injured two others Wednesday morning have been identified.
Cody Alan Randall, 30, and JD Delance Randall, 24, died at the scene on Stearns County Road 2 near Cold Spring, according to authorities. .
The Randalls were driving with Katie Seegmiller, 15, who was extricated from the vehicle and flown to North Memorial Medical Center where she was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon. All three are from Washington City, Utah.
Sandra Hansen, 64, from Cold Spring, was driving the second vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital. She was listed in stable condition.
Stearns County Chief Deputy Jon Lentz said the crash happened about 8 a.m. near County Road 2 and Island Lake Road between Cold Spring and Jacobs Prairie.
From an initial investigation, the Randall car was headed south, lost control around a corner and turned sideways in the opposite lane, said Lentz.
The northbound car, driven by Hansen, hit the first car on the passenger side.
The road reopened about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.
