Baton Rouge, LA : One dead in motorcycle crash near Mississippi River bridge on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

One person died Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash on Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely Jr. said.

The crash was reported around 8:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Nicholson Drive, near the Interstate 10 overpass and the Mississippi River bridge.

McKneely said one person was found dead when emergency crews arrived on the scene.

He said an SUV was also involved in the crash, but no one else was injured.
