Skamania ,WA : Three dead in collision including 7-year-old on Saturday night , June 20th 2015
Three people died and a child was left in critical condition Saturday night after a collision on State Route 14 in Skamania.
A man was driving a minivan west on SR-14 with four passengers; an adult and three children along SR 14 Saturday night when an eastbound pickup truck crossed the center line around milepost 33 and struck the minivan nearly head-on, officials said.
The drivers, both men, were pronounced dead at the scene. They've been identified as 24-year-old Heath Martin and 47-year-old Anatoliy Goy.
A 7-year-old boy, who was sitting behind Goy in the minivan, also died in the crash. Both Goy and the child in his car were wearing their seat belts. Martin was not.
Three other passengers in the van have been hospitalized at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland; a 49-year-old woman and two children. One of the kids was flown via Life Flight and remains in critical condition.
A helicopter ambulance flew a child to the hospital, where he or she remains in critical condition.
