Interstate 459 was briefly closed after a deputy-involved crash.

WBRC (http://bit.ly/2blZfhY ) reports that the wreck shut down one lane of the I-459 southbound for about an hour early Saturday morning.

The deputy was responding to a call when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a truck next to him.

The deputy was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The police say the truck driver was not injured.
