Omaha, NE : Seven injured in north Omaha collision on Monday evening, February 13, 2017

Omaha police rushed to the scene of a two vehicle accident that sent seven people to the hospital Monday evening.

Officers were called to 72nd and Redick Plaza just after 9 p.m.

Police tell WOWT 6 News the collision was almost head on.

All occupants in both vehicles were taken to area hospitals, a ten-month-old baby was administered life saving measures by Omaha Fire and Rescue personnel while being taken to the hospital.

She remains hospitalized in critical condition.

One of the vehicles involved was a Nebraska Humane Society van.
