Puyallup, WA : One person was critically injured and five others were hurt after a stolen car crash on Thursday, 21st June 2018

One person was critically injured and five others were hurt after a stolen car crashed into a school bus and other vehicles in Lakewood after a pursuit, according to police.

The last crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Lakewood Drive Southwest and Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest, Lakewood police spokesman Chris Lawler said. The area was closed to traffic for some time.

Pierce County sheriff's deputies spotted the 36-year-old man, who had a Department of Corrections warrant for his arrest, driving along South Tacoma Way and attempted to pull him over, sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said.
