Dallas,TX : Driver in critical condition after rollover crash in Old East Dallas on February, Sunday 11th 2018

A driver is in critical condition after his vehicle rolled several times in a crash in Old East Dallas early Sunday.

The driver approached a curve at high speed and lost control of the vehicle about 5 a.m. in the 1600 block of Barry Street where it turns into Crosstown Expressway, police said.

The car spun clockwise, went over the grass median and into the street on the other side of the median. The driver was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled, police said.

The driver, whose name was not released, was taken to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, where he remains in the intensive care unit, police said. Two passengers were uninjured.
