DUDLEY, MA : Driver badly hurt in Dudley car crash near 22 Healy Road, about a quarter mile east of the Dresser Hill intersection on Saturday, 29th September 2018

A driver suffered serious injuries when his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree early Saturday morning on Healy Road.

Dudley police, fire and emergency services personnel reported responding at approximately 12:45 a.m. Saturday to a report of a single-vehicle crash near 22 Healy Road, about a quarter mile east of the Dresser Hill intersection.

Responders found a 2015 Ford Escape with heavy damage, and police said in a press release that the vehicle appeared to have been traveling west when it left the roadway and hit a tree. The male driver, whose name is being withheld pending family notification, had serious injuries. He was treated at the scene and then taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, police said.
