A woman today was taken to the hospital after the minivan she was driving crashed into a building.
About 4:15 p.m., police and Guilford County EMS paramedics were called to 2914 E. Market St. for a report of a vehicle hitting a building.
The blue Dodge Caravan was traveling westbound on East Market Street when it suddenly crossed into eastbound traffic, hopped the curb and crashed into the Born Again Baptist Church, said Sgt. JP Randazzo with the Greensboro police.
The female driver was taken to Moses Cone Hospital in serious condition, said Guilford County EMS Director Jim Albright.
There was no one else in the minivan.
Police are continuing to investigate.
