Baltimore, MD : One person seriously injured in a crash involving an overturned vehicle in downtown Baltimore on Sunday morning, March 13, 2016

A crash involving an overturned vehicle in downtown Baltimore left one person seriously injured Sunday morning, city fire officials said.

The crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of President and Baltimore streets. One of the two cars involved had overturned, and a person was trapped inside.

Crews were able to remove the person within minutes and transport them to an area hospital in serious condition, according to fire officials.

Traffic was impacted but the road was reopened following the crash.
