Claremore, OK : CPD investigates wreck that killed 29-year old driver at 1300 block of S. Muskogee Avenue on Tuesday, 28th May 2019

A single vehicle crash that left a 29-year old dead is currently under investigation.

Claremore Police Department responded to the 1300 block of S. Muskogee Avenue around 1:20 a.m. today.

"The call came out as a single vehicle rollover with injury," said CPD Deputy Chief Steve Cox. "Cody Alan Smith, a 29-year old male from Claremore, was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash."

Cox said there were two other people in the vehicle but that they did not sustain injuries.
