Malta Bend woman hurt in one-vehicle crash Sunday

A Malta Bend woman suffered minor injuries Sunday, March 24, in a one-vehicle traffic accident on state Highway 127 in Saline County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.Ashley M. Thomas, 22, was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.

The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. as Thomas was traveling southbound about 1 1/2 miles north of state Highway 20.Thomas lost control of the 2004 Chevrolet on the snow-covered roadway, troopers said. The car went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.
