The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department took two people into custody Wednesday morning who may be connected to a carjacking.Around 90 minutes later, police said they spotted the car on North Tryon Street at Sugar Creek Road and tried to stop it, but the driver took off.
Officers were following the car for about a mile when it flipped and crashed on Yuma Street
