Two people were killed in a crash on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County Thursday night.
Emergency dispatchers said the two people were in a van that was caught under a tractor-trailer.
In pictures taken by West End Fire and Rescue, it appears Chambersburg Hosptial’s Mobile MRI Technology truck is involved.
It happened around 9:00 p.m. at mile marker 26.
The truck went into the grassy median or clear zone and was on fire.
Traffic backups stretched for miles on I-81 south and officials closed the highway in both directions at exit 29.
